7-day Uzbekistan New Year Group Tour

Participants should be in good health, comfortable walking 4-6 hours daily at a moderate pace, managing stairs and short ascents. Rest assured, we'll ensure plenty of breaks to enjoy the journey together.

Day 1, 30 DecArrival in Samarkand

Arrive in Samarkand. You will be met by our driver and transferred to the hotel. Early check in. In the afternoon meet your group members with the guide at the hotel lobby to start the city tour in Samarkand. Visit spectacular Registan Square, remains of Bibi-Khanum Mosque, Siab Bazaar and Gur-Emir Mausoleum, the final resting place of the Turco-Mongol emperor, Timur. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2, 31 DecSamarkand

After breakfast, continue sightseeing tour. Visit to Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, Ulugbek Observatory, Afrasiab Museum and the Tomb of Saint Daniel. Then drive to Konigil village to explore traditional way of making Samarkand paper from mulberry. Free time in the afternoon. In the evening New Year gala dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3, 01 JanSamarkand – Bukhara

Free time. At 14:00 depart Samarkand and drive to Bukhara (280 km, 4 h*). Stop on the way at Rabat-i-Malik Caravanserai. Continue driving to Bukhara. Arrive in Bukhara, check in to the hotel for overnight.
*The drive on vans and buses is on average an hour longer.

Day 4, 02 JanBukhara

After breakfast, at 10 am meet your guide at the hotel lobby to start Bukhara sightseeing tour.
The tour includes visit to Lyabi-Hauz Complex, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasah, Trade Domes, Kalyan Minaret and Mosque, Miri-Arab Madrasah, Ulugbek Madrasah, Abdulazizkhan Madrasah, Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Samanids Mausoleum and Chashma Ayub Mausoleum. Free time in the evening. Overnight at the hotel in Bukhara.

Day 5, 03 JanBukhara – Tashkent

Start the second day with a visit to Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa, the former summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir. This is a unique site combining Oriental and Russian architecture. Continue to the mausoleum of the founder of Sufi Muslim order Bakhouddin Naqshbandi and Chor-Bakr Necropolis. At 14:40 transfer to the train station. Take Afrosiyob fast train to Tashkent departing at 15:50, arriving at 19:48 (540 km). Upon arrival the driver will transfer you to the hotel in Tashkent. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6, 04 JanTashkent

After breakfast, meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby to start sightseeing capital of Uzbekistan, the biggest city in Central Asia. Visit Old City part of Tashkent with Khast-Imam Complex where the world famous Quran of Caliph Uthman– Ottoman has been preserved. In Khast-Imam visit Madrasah of Barak-Khan, Tillya Sheikh Mosque, Mausoleum of the Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari. Explore Chorsu Bazaar. Then take a ride on Tashkent Metro to the city center to visit Applied Arts Museum and walk through Navoi Theater to Amir Timur Square where you will end Tashkent city tour. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7, 05 JanTashkent - departure

Check out by 12:00. Free time till transfer to Tashkent International airport. Departure. End of the 7-day New Year Group Tour.
