Description: Travel in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Tour package consists of a combination of historical, architectural and cultural components.

Travel itinerary: Tashkent - Bukhara - Samarkand - Tashkent - Bishkek - Son-Kul - Issyk-Kul - Bishkek

Day 1: Tashkent. Morning arrival in Tashkent. Pick up at the Airport. Accommodation in hotel. Breakfast at the hotel. City tour in Tashkent: Khalklar Dustligi square, Abulkasim madrasah (1850), Abu Bakr Kaffal Shoshi - Islamic scholar mausoleum (16th c.), Barak-Khan madrasah (16th c.), Kaffal-Shashi mausoleum (15th c.), Kukeldash madrasah (16th c.), and the Djuma Mosque (9th c.). Lunch. Amir Temur square, Theatre square, Museum of the History of Uzbekistan, Independence square, local "Broadway" - a walking street with street artists, paintings bazaar, boutiques, eatery places, entertainment complex, fountains and parks. Dinner. Overnight in Tashkent.

Day 2: Tashkent-Bukhara. Breakfast. Transfer to airport for flight to Bukhara. Arrival in Bukhara. Accommodation in hotel. City tour: Citadel Ark, Samanids Mausoleum (10th c.), Chashma Ayub, Bolo-Hauz Mosque (beginning of the 20th c.), Lunch. Continuation of program: Coumpol bazaar. Medreseh Nodir-Divan-Beghi complex Lyabi-Khauz (14-17th c.), Minaret Kalon (12-14th c.)(from outside), Kalon mosque (15th c.), Medreseh Miri Arab (16th c.). Lunch. Dinner in a traditional Uzbek house, folklore concert and fashion show. Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 3: Bukhara Breakfast. A trip out of the city to visit the Emir's summer residence Sitorai-Mokhi-Hossa (19th c.) the Bahouddin Nakshbandi mausoleum (16-19th c.), and the sepulchers of his mother and his preceptor (14th c.), mausoleum Chor-Bakr (10th c.). Lunch. Wine tasting - the Uzbek Gold collection. Leisure time. Dinner. Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 4: Bukhara-Samarkand. Breakfast. Transfer to Samarkand(268 km, 4 hrs). Arrival. Midday city tour: Registan square: Medreseh Ulughbek (15th c.), Medreseh Shir-Dor (17th c.), Medreseh Tilla-Kori (17th c.). Lunch. Mausoleum Guri Emir - Tamerlane's Tomb (14 - 15th c.), Bibi-Khonum Mosque. Dinner in the national restaurant Karimbek. Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 5: Breakfast. Continuation of city tour: Excavations and museum of the ancient city of Afrosiab, Architectural complex Shakhi-Zindeh (11 - 15th c.), tomb of Saint Daniyar, Ulughbek Observatory. Lunch. Visit to the small silk processing factory Aiesha. Dinner. Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 6: Samarkand-Tashkent. Breakfast. Marketplaces. Transfer to Tashkent. (315 km, 4 hrs). Visit to the Opera and Ballet Theater named after A. Navoi, visit to the Tashkent Tower and Farewell dinner in the Tower restaurant. Overnight in Tashkent.

Day 7: Tashkent - Bishkek. Breakfast. Transfer to airport for flight to Bishkek. Arrival in Bishkek, pick-up at the airport and transfer to hotel. Breakfast. Sightseeing tour around city: Oak Park, Ala-Too Square, Philharmonic, Statue of Manas, Victory Square, Lunch. Continue city tour and free time. Dinner in restaurant, accommodation in hotel. Overnight in Bishkek.

Day 8: Bishkek - Son-Kul. Breakfast and transfer to Son-Kul Lake (3016 m above sea level). Along the way, in Kochkor, we will enjoy a demonstration of traditional carpet making and have lunch. Then continue to Lake Son-Kul where we have a traditional dinner and stay overnight in Yurts.

Day 9: Son-Kul. Free day at the lake. Today you can ride horses or go for a short hike. In this magnificent place you can see hundreds of herds of livestock and many different yurts, where you certainly will be invited to have Kumiss, the national drink made of fermented mare's milk, served with traditional bread, delicious milk products and jam. Dinner and Overnight in Yurts.

Day 10: Son-Kul - Issyk-Kul. After breakfast, drive to the north shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, where you will have a free afternoon to relax. Dinner in the comfortable hotel where you will stay overnight.

Day 11: Issyk-Kul - Bishkek Breakfast, excursion to Cholpon-Ata to view petroglyphs - collections of stones with ancient drawings dated to 2000 B.C. Return to the Hotel, lunch and transfer back to Bishkek (250 km), en-route visiting the Burana tower on the site of the ancient city of Balasagyn (XI - XIII centuries). Accommodation in Hotel in Bishkek. Dinner in restaurant. Overnight in Bishkek.

Day 12: Bishkek - to next destination. Transfer to the airport and flight to next destination.
