The Georgia Budget Tour provides five days of logistical and transportation support, freeing you to relax and enjoy a hassle-free holiday in the Caucasus. Travel by train to three of Georgia’s most beloved cities – capital city Tbilisi, coastal resort town Batumi and mythical Kutaisi – where you can fill your time with independent city exploration or pre-arranged day trips that provide a more guided experience.
Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi form a tourist triangle within Georgia, with each city painting a unique yet authentic portrait of Georgia’s endearing contrasts. Bridge antiquity and modernity in Tbilisi, unwind amidst the zany landmarks in Batumi on the Black Sea and lose yourself in Kutaisi, a city where history collides with legend. Train travel between each city will create an even more unforgettable experience.

Day 1Tbilisi
Arrive in Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital. You will be met by our driver for drop-off at the hotel, where check-in begins at noon. Have a rest after your flight.
Free time in the afternoon to take a walk in Old Tbilisi, where ancient monuments, fortresses and cathedrals mingle with famous modern landmarks. Overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 2Tbilisi
After breakfast, enjoy a full free day for sightseeing in the capital or its surrounding region. Options include private exploration of the city, booking one of our city tours or taking a guided day tour from Tbilisi to surrounding towns or national parks. Overnight at the hotel in Tbilisi.
Day 3Tbilisi – Kutaisi
In the morning, transfer to the train station and take the train to Kutaisi, departing from Tbilisi at 09:00 and arriving in Kutaisi at 14:30 (230km). Our driver will pick you up from the train station for transfer to the hotel.
Free time for remainder of the day. Overnight at the hotel in Kutaisi.
Day 4Kutaisi – Batumi
Free time in the morning to tour Kutaisi independently or on a pre-arranged guided city tour. In late afternoon, transfer to the train station. Your train departs Kutaisi at 17:50 and arrives in Batumi at 21:50 (150km). Our driver will pick you up from the train station for transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Batumi.
Day 5Batumi – Tbilisi
Free day to explore Batumi and ride its cable cars. In the evening, transfer to the train station to catch a train to the capital. Your train departs Batumi at 18:00 and arrives in Tbilisi at 23:00 (390km). Our driver will pick you up from the train station for transfer to Tbilisi International Airport.
