Due to increased speed in recent years, the Sharq Train covers the distance between Tashkent and Samarkand in just 3.5 hours, and the journey from Samarkand to Bukhara in 2.5 hours. When buying a ticket for the Sharq Train, you can choose from a variety of compartment options offering various levels of comfort, from sleeper carriages and 1st class compartments to 2nd class economy cars, consisting of rows of comfortable seats.
