New direction for ecotourism
On January, 14th, 2012 the United Nations Development Project in Uzbekistan organized tour to Zaamin area purposed on acquaintance of the trip participants with tourist potential of the presented region. Representatives of large travel companies of Tashkent took part in the given tour (with participation of Natalia Revina, the Manager-FIT of OrexCA.com), representatives of NC “Uzbek tourism”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, mass media.
In the course of meetings and conferences which have been included in the cultural program of the tour, representatives of UNDP in situ have shown readiness and desire of region to accept not only local, but also foreign tourists, looking forward to getting acquainted with culture and life of Uzbek people directly participating in their everyday life.
Unique Zaamin region shows interest not only as a vacation spot, but also as a place of recreation and the place to spend a wonderful vacation or holiday in the big sanatorium functioning on this territory under the same name.
For example, “Zaamin” sanatorium located on the territory of recreational zone is the huge complex equipped with all necessary equipment and high-qualified experts. But the main remarkable thing about Zaamin is its finest ecology, fresh air from junipers, pure water from mountain lakes, routes for tracks and well-equipped guest houses ready to serve foreign tourists and for sure it deserves the name of “The pearl of Dzhizak area” and a new tourist direction of Uzbekistan.
