Description: Karakalpakistan region and Aral Sea tour. Tour package consists of a combination of historical, cultural and natural components.

Throughout this tour, you will have the unique possibility to discover ancient Karakalpakistan and the Aral Sea region, to visit such famous cities as Nukus and Muynak; to view monuments whose foundation goes back to the beginning of our era, the world famous Museum of Art named after Savitskiy; and to be introduced to the traditions and culture of the people who live in this region. This region of Uzbekistan is one of the most ancient centers of civilization.

Travel itinerary: Tashkent - Nukus - Muynak - Nukus - Tashkent

Day 1: Breakfast. Transfer to airport for morning flight to Nukus. Arrival at Nukus airport. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation. Lunch. City tour: Museum of Art named after I.V. Savitskiy (2^nd part of the famous Nukus Museum), which will open to you the culture of this region; Mizdahkan - an Islamic complex in Hojeli village (15 km); Gyarurkala - up to the present day archeologists have been excavating sites in this region. Dinner. Overnight in Nukus.

Day 2: Breakfast. Continuation of city tour program: Mausoleum Mazlumkhan Sulgu (14^th c.), Mausoleum of Shamun Nabig (12-13^th c.), Medrese Halika Erjep (9-13^th c.), old town Ali Belgisiz (16-17^th c). Lunch. Art Museum - the main part of world famous museum named after Savitskiy, where you can see a gallery of Russian Avant-garde work and archeological and historical artifacts. Dinner. Overnight in Nukus.

Day 3: Breakfast. Transfer to Muynak (270 km). City tour in Muynak: City Museum, Monument to those who died during the Second World War (the highest point in Muynak), cemetery of dead ships. Lunch in Muynak. Transfer to Nukus. Dinner. Transfer to the airport for return flight to Tashkent.
