Aydarkul Lake
Uzbekistan seas, rivers, lakes, and reservoirs

Aydarkul Lake is called the "turquoise sea in the sands". It has the capability of enchanting and charming quite cynical people, who have traveled widely and seen many beautiful places in nature. Aydarkul Lake is a kind of ecological opposite to the Aral Sea, the famously polluted shrinking reservoir. It is a natural attraction for travelers who are tired of wandering through the desert and the steppe. The excellent beaches and brushwood on the shores of the lake are especially striking. There are many varieties of fish and waterfowl here as well. Occasionally it is possible to meet pink pelicans, swans, white herons and other wildlife.
